Invitation to Submit Scientific Abstracts
The Malaysian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (MAOMS) cordially invites submissions of original research and case reports for presentation at the 30th MAOMS Annual Scientific Conference 2026. All submissions will undergo review by the Scientific Program Committee. All accepted abstracts will be considered for publication as an extended abstract or full article in MJOMS.
Abstract Categories & Structure
1. Original Research (Oral Presentation)
Structure: Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
Word Limit: Maximum 300 words (304 including headings)
2. Case Report (E-Poster Presentation)
Structure: Introduction, Case Report, Conclusions.
Word Limit: Maximum 200 words (203 including headings)

Accepted abstracts will be eligible for publication in the Malaysian Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (MJOMS). Best Oral Presentation and Best E-Poster awards will be presented during the conference.

Standardised Format for Poster Presentation
All participants are kindly requested to prepare their poster using the official template provided in the link below.
Instructions:
1. Click the provided link below.
2. Sign up to Canva (Various way)
3. Click Share button on the upper right screen or File > Download
4. Scroll down and Click Download.
5. Choose file type PPTX (PowerPoint format)
6. Click Download
7. Prepare and complete your poster using this PPTX template.
After downloading the template, you may adjust the content and layout of the poster as needed, provided that the original poster size is maintained.
Please ensure that your poster is prepared only using this template, as no other poster sizes or formats will be accepted.
Kindly note that not following these instructions may lead to formatting issues, loss of information, distorted images, or other display problems in the final poster. Participants are therefore advised to carefully follow the template guidelines, as any issues arising from the use of other formats will be under the participant’s responsibility.
